Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.80% or 40.0 points to trade at 2260.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.31% or 40.0 points to end at 3100.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was up 1.30% or 15.0 points to 1165.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 7.69% or 55.0 points to trade at 660.0 in late trade. Promigas (CN:PMG) declined 4.52% or 350.0 points to end at 7400.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 0.56% or 40.0 points to 7160.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.60% or 0.64 to $105.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.99% or 21.00 to hit $2146.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 2.70 to trade at $1201.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.04% to 3013.50, while BRL/COP rose 2.10% to 780.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 96.56.
