Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 0.49% or 80.0 points to trade at 16440.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 0.40% or 40.0 points to end at 9990.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 0.19% or 20.0 points to 10660.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which lost 3.08% or 40.0 points to trade at 1260.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 2.73% or 300.0 points to end at 10700.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) shed 1.21% or 460.0 points to 37520.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 5 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.93% or 1.19 to $127.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 3.13% or 62.50 to hit $1934.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 9.20 to trade at $1268.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.32% to 2999.93, while BRL/COP rose 0.40% to 925.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 93.29.
