Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Technology and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.15% or 9.2 points to trade at 436.7 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 1.01% or 3.50 points to end at 350.50 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 0.79% or 2.8 points to 355.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 2.40% or 8.9 points to trade at 361.6 in late trade. DSV (CO:DSV) declined 1.66% or 8.3 points to end at 490.7 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) shed 1.59% or 3.2 points to 197.7.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 64 to 53 and 24 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.56% or 0.36 to $64.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.42% or 0.29 to hit $70.16 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 6.30 to trade at $1341.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.59% to 6.0696, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4492.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.53% at 90.14.
