Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Trade and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Yulie Sekurindo Tbk (JK:YULE), which rose 33.87% or 21.00 points to trade at 83.00 at the close. Equity Development Investment (JK:GSMF) added 25.25% or 25 points to end at 124 and Panasia Indo Resources Tbk (JK:HDTX) was up 24.50% or 98 points to 498 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pelayaran Nelly Dwi Putri Tbk (JK:NELY), which lost 16.55% or 24 points to trade at 121 in late trade. Bank Dinar Indonesia Tbk (JK:DNAR) declined 15.00% or 42.00 points to end at 238.00 and Anugerah Kagum Karya Utama Tbk PT (JK:AKKU) shed 14.46% or 12 points to 71.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 165 to 158 and 107 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.48% or 0.22 to $46.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.62% or 0.30 to hit $48.45 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.43 to trade at $1271.83 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.07% to 13305.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.11% to 9994.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 97.11.
