Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Miscellaneous Industry and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.86% to hit a new 52-week high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bank Of India Indonesia Tbk (JK:BSWD), which rose 25.00% or 400 points to trade at 2000 at the close. Tigaraksa Satria Tbk (JK:TGKA) added 24.72% or 660 points to end at 3330 and Capitol Nusantara Indonesia (JK:CANI) was up 21.67% or 57 points to 320 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Energy Mines Tbk (JK:GEMS), which lost 10.00% or 195 points to trade at 1755 in late trade. Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk (JK:LCGP) declined 9.82% or 16 points to end at 147 and Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk PT (JK:MKNT) shed 9.79% or 46 points to 424.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 165 to 159 and 92 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.91% or 0.38 to $41.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.93% or 0.41 to hit $43.88 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.06% or 0.85 to trade at $1368.25 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.01% to 13109.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.21% to 10049.05.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 95.58.
