Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Infrastructure and Trade sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.83%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Pyridam Farma Tbk (JK:PYFA), which rose 27.66% or 39 points to trade at 180 at the close. Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR) added 26.04% or 25.00 points to end at 121.00 and Kimia Farma Persero Tbk (JK:KAEF) was up 24.84% or 380 points to 1910 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO), which lost 10.00% or 16 points to trade at 144 in late trade. Bank Pundi Indonesia Tbk (JK:BEKS) declined 9.88% or 8 points to end at 73 and Mitra Investindo Tbk (JK:MITI) shed 9.68% or 12 points to 112.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 181 to 109 and 111 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.17% or 0.08 to $48.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $50.84 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.46% or 6.30 to trade at $1350.90 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.44% to 13168.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.56% to 10002.15.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.33% at 94.42.
