Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.18% to hit a new 52-week high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which rose 8.74% or 4190.0 points to trade at 52150.0 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) added 6.40% or 95 points to end at 1579 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) was up 4.46% or 393 points to 9212 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 0.73% or 15 points to trade at 2030 in late trade. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 0.71% or 7 points to end at 918 and Amot Investments Ltd (TA:AMOT) shed 0.59% or 11 points to 1861.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 303 to 79 and 34 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.31% or 0.20 to $65.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.75% or 0.54 to hit $72.37 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 7.60 to trade at $1191.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.04% to 3.6621, while EUR/ILS fell 0.02% to 4.1861.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 96.04.
