Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Auto & components and Consumer Durables And Apparel sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 1.96% or 6.0 points to trade at 312.0 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) added 0.60% or 0.1 points to end at 21.8 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was up 0.30% or 0.10 points to 33.16 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE), which lost 7.19% or 1.1 points to trade at 13.6 in late trade. Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) declined 6.28% or 1.46 points to end at 21.77 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) shed 4.95% or 0.94 points to 18.05.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 106 to 66 and 25 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.74% or 0.83 to $46.81 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.64% or 0.82 to hit $49.33 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1326.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.08% to 9.2693, while USD/NOK rose 0.26% to 8.2922.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 95.65.
