Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Diversified Financials, Auto & components and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.70%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY), which rose 3.90% or 1.71 points to trade at 46.63 at the close. Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) added 0.73% or 1.40 points to end at 193.00 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 0.41% or 0.3 points to 73.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which lost 4.87% or 10.10 points to trade at 197.40 in late trade. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 4.00% or 0.67 points to end at 16.10 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) shed 3.31% or 9.8 points to 286.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 126 to 60 and 18 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.50% or 0.37 to $73.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.78% or 0.66 to hit $83.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.37% or 16.50 to trade at $1189.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.03% to 9.5154, while USD/NOK rose 0.42% to 8.2947.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 95.56.
