Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.72%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which rose 1.41% or 4.6 points to trade at 330.6 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 0.87% or 1.9 points to end at 221.0 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) was up 0.59% or 0.45 points to 76.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA), which lost 4.22% or 11.70 points to trade at 265.60 in late trade. Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) declined 2.49% or 9.6 points to end at 376.0 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) shed 2.20% or 4.1 points to 182.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 126 to 59 and 20 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.10% or 0.05 to $50.40 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.24% or 0.13 to hit $53.26 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.45 to trade at $1245.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.30% to 9.1684, while USD/NOK rose 0.12% to 8.5731.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 100.19.
