Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Multi Investment and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 2.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260), which rose 3.92% or 2.00 points to trade at 53.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) added 3.76% or 0.46 points to end at 12.70 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) was up 3.16% or 7.25 points to 237.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which fell 10.00% or 6.75 points to trade at 60.75 at the close. National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) declined 9.88% or 5.10 points to end at 46.50 and Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) was down 8.50% or 2.24 points to 24.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 151 to 15.
Shares in Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) fell to 3-years lows; down 10.00% or 6.75 to 60.75. Shares in National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) fell to 52-week lows; falling 9.88% or 5.10 to 46.50. Shares in Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) fell to 3-years lows; down 8.50% or 2.24 to 24.10.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.43% or 0.17 to $39.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.22% or 0.10 to hit $43.30 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.15% or 13.10 to trade at $1125.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 1.20% to 4.2679, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.00% at 94.86.
