At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index dropped 0.30%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap were also down. The TSX Venture dropped 0.70%, while the Smallcap was down by 0.88%.
- Tilray (TSX:TLRY): Rose 2.96% or 0.05 points to 1.74.
- BlackBerry (TSX:BB): Increased 2.50% or 0.11 points to 4.51.
- NFI Group (TSX:NFI): Climbed 2.12% or 0.29 points to 13.95
- Air Canada (TSX:AC): Dropped 4.49% or 1.12 points to 23.80.
- Baytex Energy Corp (TSX:BTE): Fell 3.54% or 0.120 points to 3.270.
- HudBay Minerals (TSX:HBM): Declined 3.35% or 0.41 points to 11.82.
In Commodities Trading:
- February Brent Oil Contract dropped by 1.39% or 1.03 points to 72.88 a barrel.
- Crude Oil for January delivery declined 1.42 points to 69.29 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for February delivery fell 17.56 points to 2,652.44 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD is stable at 1.4295.
- EUR/CAD is trading at 1.5013.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 106.635.
