At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index dropped 0.20%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap also increased. The TSX Venture rose 0.62%, while the Smallcap was up by 0.17%.

- Mullen Group (TSX:MTL): Climbed 6.41% or 0.91 points to 15.10 .
- Colliers International (TSX:CIGI): Increased 3.54% or 7.25 points to 212.01.
- Teck Resources (TSX:TECKa): Dropped 6.02% or 4.13 points to 64.45.
- Boyd Group (TSX:BYD): Fell 1.31% or 2.85 points to 215.00.
- Lundin Gold Inc (TSX:LUG): Declined 1.36% or 0.47 points to 34.13.
In Commodities Trading:
- December Brent Oil Contract climbed by 0.57% or 0.43 points to 75.39 a barrel.
- Crude Oil for December delivery rose 0.40 points to 71.17 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for December delivery increased 16.60 points to 2,746.00 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD is at 1.3829.
- EUR/CAD is at 1.4959.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 104.040.
