May 15 (Reuters) - Tauron Polska Energia SA TPE.WA :
* Poland's Tauron said on Tuesday that it will make an offer
to purchase for a "token sum" some assets of the Brzeszcze mine,
a part of the troubled miner Kompania Weglowa (KW) only if the
sale is made in a public tender.
* The condition was set because of the risk of the miner
potentially having to return funds deemed as illegal public
help, the company said.
* Before the sale is finalised, the assets will need to
reduce the number of permanent employees to 828, have up to 715
outsourced employees and revise the salary scheme, Tauron said.
* Tauron sees investment spending on the assets at 253
million zlotys ($66.5 million) between 2016-2018, and assumes
annual coal output of 1.5 million tonnes from 2017.
