NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) rose 3.8% after the chipmaker reported strong first quarter results and announced a 10-for-1 stock split.
DuPont (NYSE:DD) rose 4% after it announced a plan to separate into three distinct, publicly traded companies.
Snowflake (NYSE:SNOW) rose 6% after its first quarter revenue topped analysts' estimates. It also boosted full year product revenue guidance.
e.l.f. Beauty, Inc. (NYSE:ELF) fell 3% after it issued full year guidance that was significantly below analysts' forecasts.
V.F. Corp. (NYSE:VFC) fell 10% after it reported a surprise loss in the first quarter and a larger decline in revenue than expected. V.F. Corp also named a new CFO.
Cytokinetics (NASDAQ:CYTK) fell 13% after it announced plans to offer approximately $500 million of shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. It also enter into a strategic funding collaboration with Royalty Pharma plc (Nasdaq: RPRX).
GlobalFoundries (NASDAQ:GFS) fell 5% after announcing that Mubadala Technology Investments is offering $950 million of the company's shares. The company plans to repurchase a portion of the stock.
Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA) rose 2%, adding to an intraday gain of 14%, after Bloomberg reported that it and Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) are in talks with the US for H5N1 bird flu vaccines.
News Corp (NASDAQ:NWSA) rose 4% after it and OpenAI today announced a multi-year agreement to bring News Corp news content to OpenAI.
