Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Communication sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.73%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Cellcom (TA:CEL), which rose 3.28% or 118 points to trade at 3717 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) added 3.27% or 58 points to end at 1831 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) was up 3.03% or 266 points to 9035 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which lost 1.17% or 300 points to trade at 25440 in late trade. Frutarom (TA:FRUT) declined 1.04% or 230 points to end at 21970 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) shed 0.96% or 23 points to 2379.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 319 to 98 and 85 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $50.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.40% or 1.26 to hit $53.77 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.27 to trade at $1255.07 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.40% to 3.5800, while EUR/ILS rose 0.58% to 4.0134.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.79% at 97.00.
