Oct 8 (Reuters) - Tauron TPE.WA :
* Poland's second biggest power firm Tauron said on Thursday
that it terminated an agreement with its parters to jointly
negotiate to buy the troubled Brzeszcze coal mine.
* Tauron's partners were two smaller state-owned firms and
an investment vehicle owned by bilionaire Michal Solowow.
* The state-run Tauron's purchase of the Brzeszcze mine,
which used to belong to the troubled miner Kompania Weglowa, is
part of the government's rescue plan for the mining industry.
