May 3 (Reuters) - Stock futures pointed to a lower opening for Canada's main stock index on Wednesday as investors digested quarterly results from a slew of major companies including Loblaw, CGI and Torstar.
June futures on the S&P TSX index SXFc1 were down 0.17 percent at 7:15 a.m. ET.
Canada's main stock index rose on Tuesday, helped by gains for several companies whose results exceeded expectations, including e-commerce company Shopify, and by gains for pipeline companies. Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures 1YMc1 were down 0.09 percent at 7:15 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures ESc1 were down 0.16 percent and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures NQc1 were down 0.28 percent. .N
