Aug 21 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index futures fell on Friday as a resurgence in coronavirus cases raised concerns of a slow recovery in fuel demand, hurting crude oil prices.
September futures on the S&P/TSX index SXFc1 were down 0.24% at 7:00 a.m. ET.
Data for Canada's new housing price index for July and retail sales for the month of June is due at 8:30 a.m. ET
On Thursday, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE ended 0.18% lower at 16,606.76 Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures 1YMc1 were down 0.18% at 7:00 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures ESc1 were down 0.18% and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures NQc1 were down 0.21%. .N
