April 12 (Reuters) - Stock futures pointed to a higher opening for Canada's main stock index on Friday, as oil prices rose following supply cuts from Venezuela, Libya and Iran.
June futures on the S&P/TSX index SXFc1 were up 0.34 percent at 7:00 a.m. ET.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX .GSPTSE closed up 3.18 points, or 0.02 percent, at 16,399.47 on Thursday. Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures 1YMc1 were up 0.67 percent at 7:00 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures ESc1 were up 0.48 percent and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures NQc1 were up 0.40 percent. .N
