Sept 5 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index futures edged lower on Tuesday as traders were cautious due to lingering geopolitical tensions over North Korea's sixth and most powerful nuclear test on Sunday.
September futures on the S&P TSX index SXFc1 were down 0.02 percent at 7:15 a.m. ET.
Canada's main stock index slipped on Friday as retailers pulled back on investor fears about the threat posed to their business by Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN)'s Whole Foods Market (NASDAQ:WFM) acquisition a day after the index hit a three-week high. Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures 1YMc1 were down 0.28 percent at 7:15 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures ESc1 were down 0.25 percent and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures NQc1 were down 0.15 percent. .N
