Sept 21 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Friday, boosted by a rise in energy shares on higher oil prices ahead of a meeting of OPEC.
* At 9:30 a.m. ET (13:30 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 12.86 points, or 0.08 percent, at 16,227.61.
