KATOWICE, May 18 (Reuters) - Czech utility CEZ CEZP.PR may
file a bid for France's EDF (PA:EDF) Polish heating assets which have
been put up for sale, CEZ management board member Ivo Hlavac
said on Wednesday.
EDF has launched sale of its Polish assets worth up to 2
billion zlotys ($513.22 million) earlier this year.
"We're considering submitting an offer for EDF heating
assets in Poland," Hlavac told reporters in a sidelines of an
economic congress in southern city of Katowice.
"We're not interested in the Rybnik power station. The whole
process was launched two weeks ago, this is interesting for us,
but we keep it open, we have not decided yet."
