On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD67.05 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.90%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD66.92 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD66.92 and resistance at USD70.43.
US Dollar Index Futures, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.34% to trade at USD94.78.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for October delivery fell 0.52% to trade at USD72.01 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.96 a barrel.
