Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.18% or 26.0 points to trade at 842.5 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 2.91% or 0.91 points to end at 32.20 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 2.25% or 5.70 points to 258.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which lost 1.22% or 0.80 points to trade at 64.85 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.66% or 5.5 points to end at 824.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 0.53% or 1.6 points to 301.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 74 to 61 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.26% or 0.11 to $41.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.46% or 0.19 to hit $41.73 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.27% or 3.40 to trade at $1247.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.20% to 6.6441, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4536.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.28% at 95.67.
