Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Financials and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.75% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 3.48% or 19.6 points to trade at 582.6 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 1.22% or 4.9 points to end at 405.4 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 0.67% or 2.3 points to 344.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which lost 3.31% or 10.1 points to trade at 294.6 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 3.25% or 2.34 points to end at 69.72 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 2.53% or 6.2 points to 238.7.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 114 to 22 and 11 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.27% or 0.17 to $63.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.59% or 0.40 to hit $67.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.60 to trade at $1330.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.0079, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4419.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 89.48.
