Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 1.14% or 0.37 points to trade at 32.79 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 0.51% or 45 points to end at 8850 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 0.31% or 1.3 points to 417.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS), which lost 1.62% or 7.4 points to trade at 449.6 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 1.35% or 1.8 points to end at 131.1 and William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) shed 1.31% or 9.0 points to 680.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 74 to 60 and 25 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.77% or 1.15 to $40.35 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.21% or 0.97 to hit $42.87 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.82% or 10.10 to trade at $1236.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.35% to 6.5817, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4411.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.42% at 94.54.
