Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.87% or 23.5 points to trade at 841.5 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) fell 0.05% or 0.5 points to end at 970.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was down 0.20% or 0.50 points to 254.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 3.07% or 8.5 points to trade at 268.5 in late trade. Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) declined 3.04% or 3.9 points to end at 124.6 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 2.71% or 260 points to 9340.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 92 to 42 and 26 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.46% or 0.64 to $43.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.75% or 0.34 to hit $44.73 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.98% or 12.10 to trade at $1242.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.44% to 6.6012, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4417.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.44% at 94.69.
