Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 0.49% or 2.5 points to trade at 516.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 0.09% or 0.5 points to end at 536.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 0.03% or 0.1 points to 308.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 3.25% or 380 points to trade at 11330 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.57% or 310 points to end at 11730 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 2.28% or 33.0 points to 1415.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 41 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.64% or 0.80 to $48.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.51% or 0.78 to hit $50.84 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.96% or 11.85 to trade at $1245.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.67% to 6.8773, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4362.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.66% at 99.50.
