Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Valmt (HE:VALMT), which rose 1.68% or 0.29 points to trade at 17.51 at the close. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) added 0.92% or 0.055 points to end at 6.030 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was up 0.78% or 0.24 points to 31.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which lost 2.55% or 1.50 points to trade at 57.30 in late trade. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) declined 1.41% or 0.56 points to end at 39.06 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) shed 1.04% or 0.060 points to 5.700.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 66 and 18 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for September delivery was up 0.57% or 0.26 to $46.01 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.77% or 0.33 to hit $43.34 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.94% or 11.80 to trade at $1244.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.07% to 1.1187, while EUR/GBP fell 0.03% to 0.8796.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 97.05.
