Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Telecoms and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes Abp (HE:KCRA), which rose 4.84% or 1.78 points to trade at 38.53 at the close. Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 3.88% or 1.40 points to end at 37.49 and Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) was up 3.58% or 0.390 points to 11.290 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO), which lost 5.30% or 2.46 points to trade at 43.99 in late trade. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) declined 4.55% or 0.97 points to end at 20.35 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) shed 3.28% or 0.370 points to 10.920.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 74 to 64 and 15 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.08% or 0.04 to $51.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in June unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $48.97 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.80 to trade at $1267.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.21% to 1.0896, while EUR/GBP fell 0.14% to 0.8414.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 98.93.
