Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 1.00%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V), which rose 1.04% or 0.37 points to trade at 35.98 at the close. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 0.94% or 0.20 points to end at 21.51 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was up 0.84% or 0.38 points to 45.58 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Valmt (HE:VALMT), which lost 3.82% or 0.67 points to trade at 16.87 in late trade. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) declined 3.56% or 1.34 points to end at 36.31 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) shed 2.97% or 0.185 points to 6.050.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 107 to 31 and 16 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for August delivery was up 0.62% or 0.30 to $48.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.85% or 0.39 to hit $46.22 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.65 to trade at $1268.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.09% to 1.1205, while EUR/GBP rose 0.87% to 0.8854.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 97.21.
