Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Agriculture, Property and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.25% to hit a new 6-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Citra Putra Realty Tbk PT (JK:CLAY), which unchanged 0.00% or 0 points to trade at 925 at the close. Nusantara Properti International Tbk PT (JK:NATO) added 24.56% or 84 points to end at 426 and Timah Persero Tbk (JK:TINS) was up 20.91% or 230 points to 1330 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Hotel Mandarine Regency Tbk PT (JK:HOME), which lost 17.36% or 25 points to trade at 119 in late trade. Trust Finance Indonesia Tbk (JK:TRUS) declined 17.14% or 72 points to end at 348 and Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (JK:DSSA) shed 15.85% or 2825 points to 15000.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 216 to 203 and 125 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.40% or 0.21 to $53.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.13% or 0.08 to hit $61.17 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 2.55 to trade at $1282.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.53% to 14085.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.44% to 10001.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 96.118.
