Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Basic Industry and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.59% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Arthavest Tbk (JK:ARTA), which rose 25.00% or 64 points to trade at 320 at the close. Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk PT (JK:CAMP) added 24.79% or 295 points to end at 1485 and Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Jasa Mitra Abadi Tbk PT (JK:JMAS) was up 24.64% or 170 points to 860 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tembaga Mulia Semanan Tbk (JK:TBMS), which lost 17.93% or 165.00 points to trade at 755.00 in late trade. Multipolar Technology Tbk (JK:MLPT) declined 17.20% or 135 points to end at 650 and Trust Finance Indonesia Tbk (JK:TRUS) shed 16.13% or 25.00 points to 130.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 175 to 166 and 129 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.22% or 0.13 to $59.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.32% or 0.21 to hit $66.20 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 3.20 to trade at $1294.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.11% to 13551.2, while AUD/IDR fell 0.10% to 10531.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 92.44.
