Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Property, Financials and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.72%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Pool Advista Finance Tbk PT (JK:POLA), which unchanged 0.00% or 0 points to trade at 442 at the close. Sanurhasta Mitra PT (JK:MINA) added 24.81% or 165 points to end at 830 and Majapahit Inti Corpora Tbk PT (JK:AKSI) was up 24.52% or 76 points to 386 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Hotel Mandarine Regency Tbk PT (JK:HOME), which lost 24.70% or 41 points to trade at 125 in late trade. Shield On Service Tbk PT (JK:SOSS) declined 22.18% or 325 points to end at 1140 and Perdana Bangun Pusaka Tbk PT (JK:KONI) shed 15.79% or 21 points to 112.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 227 to 169 and 112 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.06% or 0.58 to $54.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.77% or 0.49 to hit $62.99 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.10 to trade at $1229.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.00% to 14584.8, while AUD/IDR fell 0.26% to 10582.35.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 96.387.
