Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Property and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Pratama Abadi Nusa Industri Tbk PT (JK:PANI), which rose 25.00% or 119 points to trade at 595 at the close. Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk (JK:PKPK) added 25.00% or 35 points to end at 175 and Arkadia Digital Media Tbk PT (JK:DIGI) was up 24.85% or 205 points to 1030 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Abm Investama Tbk (JK:ABMM), which lost 20.00% or 420 points to trade at 1680 in late trade. Multi Prima Sejahtera Tbk (JK:LPIN) declined 15.77% or 190 points to end at 1015 and Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX) shed 12.41% or 17 points to 120.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 175 to 162 and 143 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.47% or 0.34 to $72.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.66% or 0.53 to hit $81.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1204.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.01% to 14902.4, while AUD/IDR fell 0.22% to 10770.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 93.76.
