Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Industry, Infrastructure and Trade sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Tira Austenite Tbk (JK:TIRA), which rose 25.53% or 36.00 points to trade at 177.00 at the close. Cowell Development Tbk (JK:COWL) added 23.19% or 96 points to end at 510 and Rukun Raharja Tbk (JK:RAJA) was up 22.97% or 113 points to 605 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Trikomsel Oke Tbk (JK:TRIO), which lost 25.00% or 355 points to trade at 1065 in late trade. Indorama Synthetics Tbk (JK:INDR) declined 18.21% or 1325 points to end at 5950 and Global Teleshop Tbk (JK:GLOB) shed 12.31% or 24 points to 171.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 192 to 178 and 134 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.28% or 0.87 to $66.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.02% or 0.74 to hit $72.16 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.02% or 12.50 to trade at $1215.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.59% to 14497.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.61% to 10603.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 95.23.
