Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Auto & components and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which rose 6.67% or 0.7 points to trade at 11.5 at the close. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) added 4.29% or 1.93 points to end at 46.88 and Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 2.03% or 8.7 points to 437.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which lost 2.09% or 0.16 points to trade at 7.49 in late trade. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 1.85% or 0.02 points to end at 1.17 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) shed 0.83% or 1.20 points to 142.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 102 to 74 and 29 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.02% or 0.01 to $48.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.19% or 0.10 to hit $51.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.15 to trade at $1203.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.63% to 9.1169, while USD/NOK fell 0.41% to 8.5521.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 101.19.
