Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Transport, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Auto & components sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP), which rose 4.70% or 7.20 points to trade at 160.40 at the close. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) added 2.30% or 0.03 points to end at 1.33 and Statoil ASA (OL:STL) was up 1.23% or 1.9 points to 156.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which lost 4.71% or 1.76 points to trade at 35.60 in late trade. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) declined 4.16% or 11.3 points to end at 260.1 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) shed 2.35% or 0.4 points to 15.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 99 to 83 and 26 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.17% or 0.63 to $53.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.48% or 0.84 to hit $55.97 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.82% or 10.05 to trade at $1230.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.11% to 8.8642, while USD/NOK rose 0.66% to 8.2576.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 100.05.
