Proactive Investors - Plurilock Security Inc. (TSX-V:PLUR) announced it has signed a five-year contract with the United States Department of the Treasury valued at US$6.16 million.
The contract, awarded through its Aurora Systems Consulting subsidiary, is for the provision of Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) Unified services and support to the department, including AI Azure services and support.
The contract has a base value of US$1.07 million for the first year, with four subsequent option years through the fourth quarter of 2028.
"There is an increasing threat against computer systems throughout the world and Plurilock strives to improve the security status of public and private organizations," Plurilock CEO Ian Paterson said in a statement.
"Our operations through Aurora are key to obtaining and expanding our relationships within these organizations, especially with large government customers who have historically been stable buyers of IT throughout all economic environments."
Shares of Plurilock traded higher following the announcement, adding 3.9% at C$0.27 in out-of-hours trade on Wednesday.
Plurilock sells cybersecurity solutions to the United States and Canadian Federal Governments and Global 2000 companies.
