WARSAW, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Polish energy market regulator
URE on Thursday approved a 1.6-percent average cut in 2016 final
electricity prices in households' bills.
The regulator's decision applies to major local power
companies - PGE PGE.WA , Tauron TPE.WA and Enea ENAE.WA .
URE liberalised electricity prices for industrial users in
2007, but still controls the household segment, which consumes
around one fourth of the electricity used in Poland.
