Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Agriculture & Food and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.98%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Electronics Company (SE:4003), which rose 10.31% or 3.45 points to trade at 36.90 at the close. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) added 9.96% or 4.05 points to end at 44.70 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) was up 8.85% or 2.90 points to 35.65 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300), which lost 4.39% or 0.28 points to trade at 6.10 in late trade. Taleem REIT Fund (SE:4333) declined 2.79% or 0.38 points to end at 13.22 and Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) shed 2.03% or 0.28 points to 13.52.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 97 to 72 and 11 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.88% or 0.39 to $43.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.79% or 0.37 to hit $46.34 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.24 to trade at $1209.94 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.07% to 4.2720, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 95.88.
