Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Telecoms & IT and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.99%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which rose 7.60% or 1.00 points to trade at 14.15 at the close. Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) added 6.67% or 4.00 points to end at 64.00 and Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) was up 6.08% or 0.45 points to 7.85 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009), which lost 2.97% or 1.75 points to trade at 57.25 in late trade. Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) declined 2.60% or 0.25 points to end at 9.35 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) shed 2.44% or 0.30 points to 12.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 118 to 33 and 18 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.16% or 0.59 to $50.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.83% or 0.43 to hit $51.35 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.26% or 3.35 to trade at $1271.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.03% to 4.0845, while USD/SAR fell 0.06% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.02% at 98.64.
