Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which rose 9.47% or 1.35 points to trade at 15.60 at the close. Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) added 8.17% or 3.40 points to end at 45.00 and Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) was up 6.99% or 0.80 points to 12.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alinma Bank (SE:1150), which lost 4.76% or 0.65 points to trade at 13.00 in late trade. Anb Insurance (SE:8011) declined 4.39% or 1.30 points to end at 28.30 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) shed 4.35% or 1.90 points to 41.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 127 to 34 and 7 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.64% or 1.04 to $38.35 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.47% or 1.01 to hit $39.86 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.52% or 6.40 to trade at $1228.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.03% to 4.2046, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 95.86.
