Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.35% to hit a new 52-week high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which rose 5.49% or 11.80 points to trade at 226.60 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 2.58% or 1.28 points to end at 50.80 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 2.09% or 9.9 points to 484.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which lost 1.68% or 4.40 points to trade at 256.80 in late trade. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 1.13% or 10.5 points to end at 920.5 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) shed 0.91% or 0.47 points to 51.23.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 353 to 255 and 65 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.49% or 0.26 to $53.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.51% or 0.29 to hit $56.85 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.60 to trade at $1222.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.52% to 9.4633, while USD/SEK rose 0.19% to 8.7675.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 99.57.
