Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 3.57% or 5.0 points to trade at 144.4 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 2.02% or 1.33 points to end at 67.09 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 1.93% or 3.15 points to 166.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa), which lost 5.94% or 21.2 points to trade at 335.6 in late trade. Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) declined 5.25% or 16.9 points to end at 305.1 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) shed 3.73% or 3.7 points to 95.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 363 to 253 and 55 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.07% or 0.05 to $67.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.42% or 0.31 to hit $73.55 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.74% or 9.90 to trade at $1323.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.18% to 10.4250, while USD/SEK rose 0.67% to 8.5641.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 90.98.
