Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa), which rose 2.67% or 5.5 points to trade at 211.2 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 1.39% or 1.25 points to end at 91.30 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 0.98% or 2.00 points to 206.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which lost 4.07% or 5.4 points to trade at 127.2 in late trade. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 4.00% or 8.6 points to end at 206.4 and SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb) shed 1.58% or 2.4 points to 149.9.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 351 to 254 and 55 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.13% or 0.57 to $49.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.22% or 0.63 to hit $50.83 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.80% or 10.15 to trade at $1273.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.23% to 9.7157, while USD/SEK rose 0.17% to 8.9244.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 98.74.
