Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.89%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.04% or 1.75 points to trade at 87.50 at the close. Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 1.08% or 2.10 points to end at 196.20 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 0.95% or 0.27 points to 28.63 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which lost 2.81% or 4.70 points to trade at 162.50 in late trade. Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) declined 2.19% or 5.3 points to end at 236.2 and Svenska Handelsbanken ser. A (ST:SHBa) shed 1.83% or 2.3 points to 123.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 410 to 210 and 44 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.18% or 1.55 to $47.15 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 3.47% or 1.76 to hit $48.92 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1275.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.08% to 9.8994, while USD/SEK rose 0.08% to 9.0186.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 98.36.
