Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 1.21% or 1.80 points to trade at 151.00 at the close. Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) added 0.40% or 1.0 points to end at 253.2 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 0.40% or 0.60 points to 151.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 3.55% or 3.50 points to trade at 95.00 in late trade. Svenska Handelsbanken ser. A (ST:SHBa) declined 2.74% or 2.9 points to end at 102.9 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) shed 2.02% or 4.1 points to 199.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 372 to 198 and 47 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.89% or 0.44 to $48.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.72% or 0.36 to hit $49.68 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 2.44% or 29.60 to trade at $1242.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.29% to 9.2605, while USD/SEK fell 1.84% to 8.1710.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.51% at 94.12.
