Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Technology and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 5.82% or 27.10 points to trade at 493.10 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.72% or 1.00 points to end at 140.20 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 0.57% or 1.00 points to 176.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which lost 4.75% or 1.56 points to trade at 31.27 in late trade. SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb) declined 3.25% or 4.7 points to end at 139.8 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) shed 2.44% or 5.6 points to 224.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 385 to 174 and 46 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.55% or 1.14 to $43.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.79% or 0.82 to hit $45.01 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.64% or 8.25 to trade at $1287.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.68% to 9.2421, while USD/SEK rose 0.94% to 8.0334.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.40% at 92.90.
